Mini Roos U6-U8

The MiniRoos Club program is a National initiative run by the FFA for children aged U6 to U12. It is designed around small sided football games and the rules are modified as as players progress from year to year. The focus of MiniRoos Club is skill development & enjoyment of the game.

2025 Season information below and registrations will be opening soon via the Squadi app.

UNDER 6 - BORN 2019 and turning 6 this year

Children born in 2020 can apply to play with the U6 age group and play for two years in U6 

UNDER 7 - BORN 2018 and turning 7 this year

Purchase Shorts, Socks and other items on-line and collect from the Clubhouse once it opens.  Or purchase directly from the Clubhouse or at the BBQ tent on Saturday mornings during the season

Training Night

·        Rotational activities developed by the Director of Coaching (DOC).  Assisted by parent volunteers.

Parent Leader

We ask for parent volunteers to assist with training rotations. At the end of training, we ask our parent community to assist with packing up of the fields to ensure the fields are quickly accessible to the next age group starting training.

ALL parents in a volunteer role must register to volunteer and hold a current BLUE CARD  Football Qld Volunteer

MiniRoos Playing Format & Rules

BBQ Roster

Each family will be asked to contribute a few hours of their time on a rotation roster throughout the year to assist with the running of the club BBQ as part of the Juniors fundraising efforts. The money raised from the BBQ pays our junior referees who ref our Mini Roo games on Saturday mornings

Referees

Each game is refereed by one of our Annerley Jnr Referees who are Junior Annerley FC players themselves. Please respect the young referees.  They’ll assist with the team start formation and keeping the ball in play. Parents can sit back and enjoy watching their children play.
